Greetings citizens of love,

So much of what we believe about ourselves, others, and life has not been consciously chosen. Instead, it has been programmed into us through repetition, thoughts we keep thinking, stories we keep telling, and experiences we unconsciously seek out to prove those thoughts correct. This is how the ego keeps itself alive: by filtering reality in a way that validates its own version of the truth.

Think about it. The ego acts as a gatekeeper. Out of the countless impressions, opportunities, and signals around us, it decides what information gets in and what gets ignored or dismissed. If your programmed belief is “I’m not worthy”, the ego will filter in only the moments that seem to prove that belief, while disregarding the evidence of your value and beauty.

This creates a loop of limitation, an unawakened state where we confuse old programming with reality itself. We then say things like “That’s just how I am” or “This is how life works for me,” not realizing that what we are actually experiencing is a mirror of what the filter allows us to see.

But here is the good news: awakening is the act of reclaiming our filter. With awakened awareness, we are no longer passive receivers of inherited beliefs and recycled stories. We can consciously choose what we allow in, what we give meaning to, and what we release.

Creating a new belief isn’t about pretending or forcing positivity. It’s about recognizing when the old filter is speaking, and then pausing to ask:

Does this thought reflect the truth of who I am becoming, or just the echo of who I was?

Am I seeing reality through fear, or through possibility?

When we do this consistently, we begin to upgrade the filter. Our inner awareness shifts, and with it, so does our reality. Life starts responding to the new belief, the one chosen by consciousness, not programmed by the past.

This month, I invite you to observe the filters at work in your daily life. Notice where you might be unconsciously seeking proof of an old belief, and gently choose again. This is where transformation lives. This is where awakening becomes a lived reality.

Awareness is the reset button. The moment you become aware, the old filter loosens its grip, and you are free to install a new one, one aligned with love, trust, and possibility.

As Above, So Below

The skies this month echo the same invitation: review your thoughts, release old patterns, and choose a new way forward.

1 October – Mercury enters shadow

The planet of thought and communication begins its pre-retrograde cycle. This is a time to notice where your words, ideas, and choices may need refinement before November’s retrograde.

4 October – Pallas Athene direct

The goddess of wisdom and strategy turns forward, reminding us that clarity and discernment return when we pause and seek truth over reaction.

6 October – Full Moon in Aries

The Aries–Libra axis is highlighted, asking us to balance self-assertion with harmony in relationships. This lunation shines light on where our ego demands proof, and where we must instead choose self-awareness.

13 October – Pluto direct

Pluto, lord of transformation, stations direct in Aquarius. What has been hidden, dismantled, or under pressure begins to move forward again, allowing for deep renewal and inner empowerment.

21 October – New Moon in Libra

A fresh seed of harmony and balance is planted. This new moon supports us in rewriting the filters through which we connect with others, creating space for new agreements, relationships, and perspectives.

Together, these movements remind us that just as the heavens shift their course, so can we. With awareness, intention, and courage, October offers us the opportunity to release the old filters and align with new truths.
